Digestive, circulatory, respiratory and reproductive systems of frog
Morphology and anatomy of frog · Biology
Study notes
Example: A frog eats a fly. The sticky tongue throws out, pulls the fly in; teeth hold it while the eyes push it down the throat (frogs literally swallow with their eyes!). In the stomach, acid and enzymes digest it; the small intestine absorbs nutrients into blood; waste exits through the cloaca.
