Q: A basketball player makes 70% of free throws. What is P(make, miss, make) in three throws? Each throw: Bernoulli(0.7). Independent trials. P(M, m, M) = 0.7 × 0.3 × 0.7 = 0.147. Order matters: P(M, M, m) is also 0.147, but P(exactly 2 makes) needs all orders!
