Q: a = (2,3,0), b = (−1,5,0). Find a×b and the area of the parallelogram. a×b = |i j k; 2 3 0; −1 5 0| = i(0−0) − j(0−0) + k(10+3) = (0,0,13). Area = |a×b| = 13.
