Q: Divide 2x³+x²-5x+2 by x-2 using the division algorithm. 2x³/(x): 2x². Multiply, subtract. Continue: quotient 2x²+5x+5, remainder 12. Check: (x-2)(2x²+5x+5)+12 = 2x³+x²-5x+2 ✓! Remainder: f(2) = 16+4-10+2 = 12 ✓ (remainder theorem!)!
