Q: A shopkeeper buys a watch for ₹1,200 and sells it for ₹1,500. Find profit%. If sold at ₹1,080, find loss%. Step 1: Profit = 1500 − 1200 = ₹300. Step 2: Profit% = (300/1200) × 100 = 25%. Step 3: Loss case: Loss = 1200 − 1080 = ₹120. Step 4: Loss% = (120/1200) × 100 = 10%.
