Study notes
Measure temperature with a thermocouple: join iron and constantan wires; the junction voltage is about 51 uV per degree C. At 100 C difference the meter reads 5.1 mV. A reference junction at 0 C (ice bath) or electronic compensation gives absolute temperature.
