Q: A coin is tossed 100 times, 60 heads. Test if the coin is fair at α = 0.05. H₀: p = 0.5, H₁: p ≠ 0.5. Z = (0.6-0.5)/√(0.25/100) = 0.1/0.05 = 2. p-value = 2×P(Z>2) = 2×0.0228 = 0.0456 < 0.05. Reject H₀: evidence the coin is biased!
