Study notes
Changing pigmented mole — melanoma suspected; wide excision + sentinel node. BCC (pearly nodule — telangiectasia — sun-exposed — face: excision/Mohs — rarely metastasizes): SCC (ulcerated nodule — actinic keratosis — lower lip/ears: excision — can metastasize), melanoma (ABCDE — asymmetry, border, color, diameter >6mm, evolving — changing mole: Breslow — thickness; wide excision + sentinel node; advanced — immunotherapy): actinic keratosis (precancerous — cryotherapy/5-FU). The changing mole is melanoma — excise early.
