Tremors and seizures after stopping drink — alcohol withdrawal; benzodiazepines + thiamine. Alcohol (dependence — tolerance, withdrawal — tremor, seizures, DT — 72h: treat — benzodiazepines — chlordiazepoxide; thiamine — Wernicke — before glucose; naltrexone/acamprosate — relapse): opioids (pinpoint pupils, euphoria — overdose — naloxone — reverses; withdrawal — buprenorphine/methadone — OST), cannabis (amotivational, psychosis — supportive), tobacco (nicotine — varenicline, bupropion, NRT — quit), treatment (motivational interviewing — FRAMES; de-addiction — detox + rehab). The tremor is withdrawal — benzodiazepines calm it.
